I don't see why some of you get so offended that people want to know it's Mercedes sourced or if the RAW block comes from the Mercedes...???
REST ASSURED...
Unreliability in Mercedes is usually not ENGINE SOURCED.
Mercedes, like most German cars have u reliability in its electronic systems. But not as bad as BMW. Audi has now surpassed Mercedes in reliability.
Benz engines are solid. The merger between Nissan and Mercedes was so Mercedes can increase reliability and durability in their DCT transmission also Nissan's experience tuning the GTR Suspensions. Nissan has done that. Nissan needed better engine technology in there sports cars for more fuel efficiency and power numbers.
Mercedes has done that...
So even if Nissan developed the VR all by themself. It was done by learning a few things about engines from Benz first.
They need us.. we need them.
Cut the wack *** Nissan sub premium false pride... Be happy happy for the merger because the sharing of technology between them has made all this happen..
Don't lie to yourselves.
