I had a hell of a time trying to unplug the dang door lock socket. I finally gave up and just took out the 2 screws that hold the unlock button on the back of the door handle and used my original wires.
Caution on removing those 2 screws though. They are incredibly soft and strip with the slightest force. Messed up on the driver side door handle and had to use new screws but I used a heat gun to loosen up the passenger side and was able to get them out without stripping.
