Hello all,
I have recently had my car flashed remotely by John Visconti.
#1. There is no such thing as an "Off the shelf" tune for the 370z.
#2. You will have to dyno-pull your car on the street while recording OBD data with a laptop... several times.
#3. The "Canned e-tune" has a lot more involved than "upload the new file"
#4. Check engine lights are now a daily occurrence (Sh*t) detonation sensors
#5. Tuner's response: "If you want a better tune, sign up for the Custom tune program." This costs $300 more than the $650 already laid down.
== Summary ==
Sean says: Getting tuned via ECUtek
is not worth:
- The mildly better throttle response
- Early cylinder detonation <-- bad for engine internals, Check engine lights
- Increased mid-range pull
- Frustration dealing with remote tuners
Translation: I wish I bought front camber arms instead.
