My observations from being stationed in SoCal for many years:
Get a tank for a DD, the Mexicans can't drive out there.
Forget going north on I5, it's a parking lot from about 4 pm til 7 pm.
Oh, and enjoy the yearly smog checks.....
And lets not forget, the restrictive gun ownership laws, and Governor MoonBeam
