I personally think that the TT 276 motor has a bit of lag. And you are right about a MB motor not having any hesitation. I've driven a lot of our cars with 111, 112, 272, 273, 271, 274, N/A 276, 278 156, 157 motors and they are all pretty responsive and peppy.
