I have 285/35 on rear now and 245/40 on front now. Want to transfer bit more of weight on rear wheel up to front. One way to do that is to raise the rear a bit and lower the front a bit. I'm not sure the significant of the RE-11. I have no problem switching from Yokos to Pirelli or Michellin, or any other brand that has the size, but I question the fit as going from 35 to 40s in rear will put rubber 14mm closer to fenderwell and will raise the rear by 28mm couple that with the reduction of the front tires should produce a little less understeer.
I was just wondering if anyone tried 40s. If not, I will consider going wider on front to promote more traction up front while retaining same on back...bit that is not my first choice.
