Ok.....so. Pull up to a pump with which ever side tyour gas cap is on. Get out and either pop open the cap or hit a button in the car to do it. Get out and walk over to the pump. Just use a credit card and swipe the thing. Some pumps with either ask for a zip code, if you want a car wash, or a pin number if it's debit. Use the generic keypad on the pump to input these things. Afterwards, select your type of gas (93 is premium), put the nozzle in the cars tank hole, and squeeze the trigger. Pump until it stops and then proceed to pump an extra gallon. Safety nozzle stops it. After you're finished, put nozzle back into holster of pump and walk away.

Side note: some pumps require you to lift the holster up after you remove the nozzle. I've only seen it has Hess.
Don't top off. The risk/reward just isn't worth it. I can drive my Z down to zero dots on the gauge, then put another 40 miles on it, and then fill up 18.5 gal pretty consistently. And that's the gas pump stopping it automatically. Considering the tank is 19.1 gal, I'm not sure what would happen if I tried to top off an additional gallon
