I think that deleting resonators would make it louder and more raspy on throttle. It might make it deeper at idle and cruise though.

I'm not really sure what would make it sound deeper all around other than going with a completely different catback. The dimensions of the muffler cans and tube pattern affect the sound quality as far as I understand it.

My Berk exhaust is rather high pitched as well. It sounds like an adolescent Chewbacca that has just been bit in the *** by rattlesnake. Sorry I can't be of more help
