and just chose a switched 12v fuse, meaning it turns off when you turn off your car.
so like your power socket fuse would be a good choice. Some power sockets are powered even while the car is off, so if your camera is still on after u shut down the car, you'll want to chose another fuse.

wat u do is pull the fuse out of the fuse box, place the fuse in the add-a-circuit thingie (can't remember slot 1 or slot 2), add a new 10A fuse on the other slot, and push that add-a-circuit back into the spot you pulled out the fuse. now you got 12v power.

add-a-circuit can handle up to 10A.
