Buying out-of-state is a pain in the rear. I did that with the 2005 Neon SRT-4 that I currently have for sale. But like Greg said, call your local DMV and get your ducks in a row first. Maybe calling a CPA and asking them what kind of taxes you will have to pay for buying a car out-of-state would help too. Just don't expect the Cali dealer to be immediately armed with that kind of information and play it safe by touching base at home.
