Great story, Oatmeal. Sorry to hear of your father's passing. Sounds like you are making him proud. Welcome to the forum

The 6MT Accords have a special place in my heart as well

We bought a used 2004 6MT Accord for my wife a number of years ago. I really enjoyed that car ... on the weekends It was the first true "sporty" car I had owned as I mostly drove SUVs growing up. In 2011 we traded in my daily driver on a brand new 370Z for my wife, and I upgraded to the 6MT Accord. I drove it for nearly two years before we had to trade in the Honda when she needed an AT due to a change in her commute. I couldn't complain though because she let me upgrade to the Z for my daily driver

After a crappy Acura lease experience, she is back in a Honda. We bought her a new 2015 Honda Accord Sport. While it's no 6MT, it's actually much better than any of the other Accord models. We're really pleased with it.

Enjoy your Z!
