I get this kind of headache all the time at work. Order stuff from a vendor. They tell you it will take 11 months. So I order it. Schedule it to be install during an outage 14 months away. So that I have a 3 month cushion. Call the vendor 12 months later why I haven't gotten my part. They say they haven't started on it yet.
Tell them the next call will be from the corporate lawyers. The part shows up within a week.
When it's my own stuff. It seams even worse.
