Change 370Z Cabin Air Filter
I just did my 2012 370z coupe cabin filter and want to add a couple useful details: First, there are exactly 7 screws (and multiple clips that help align things). There are are 4 obvious screws across the top and 2 less obvious screws in the lower corners. The 7th screw is visible way back behind the tray on the upper right and is accessible either with a long Philips or, better yet, by working with the swing out glovebox to lift the 2 lower back hinges off their mates and angulating it so the "stops" clear out of their side holes. Second, the filter itself is behind a white cover door which opens by gently pulling on the latch on the right and sliding the hatch to the right so that a tab on the left side slides out of its slot. Remove the dirty filter and replace so "Nissan" is showing right side up, then slightly lift the filter as you close the hatch so that it remains elevated by the little angulated tabs on the bottom side of the hatch facing the filter. Pretty easy to reassemble all (helps if remove the retractor clip on the left of the tray and put all screws in then put it back on). It was a bit tricky to get the hinges to engage but seemed to help to get tray a little high then press down. Beats paying the dealer $80.
