The condition with the "bad" key FOB started after I had the steering wheel lock issue repaired at the dealership and turned in both key FOBs to the service writer. (purchased the 2010 pre-owned in OCT 2013) Would the steering lock repair have any thing to do with the FOB operation? Is a key FOB repairable?
Any advice and counsel is greatly appreciated. Thanks
for reference. i haven't used my spare fob since march of this year. just tested it out and it works perfectly. checked the battery too, no corrosion.
