Reverse Lights and Cluster Gauge Not Working
Alright guys I need your help.
I was installing led lights into my reverse lights when I accidentally touched the positive and negative connections together which caused a spark. I decided to check and make sure that the reverse lights were still working because I know that this could have been a possible reason as to why the reverse lights blew out. It turns out that in fact the reverse lights were not working any longer. I decided to check the fuse box underneath the dash next to the driver's foot area. None of the fuses in that fuse box were blown. I went ahead and checked the other two fuse boxes under the hood next to the battery but none of those fuses were blown either.
I've read a couple threads in regards to this situation but their solution did not fix my problem. Their solution was to replace the fuse labeled meter under the dash. There are two fuses labeled meter in that fuse box, and both of them are not blown. I did however replace them with the new fuses just to be sure, and still that did not fix my problem. What could be the problem? I read somewhere that this solution is for the manual 370 Z, and I have an automatic seven speed. Does it matter? And if so what do I need to do to get my reverse lights and my cluster gauge working again?
I appreciate all the help I can get.
