I'd hate to beat a dead horse, but the Akebono brake system is the easiest to do work on IMO. At most you might need to resurface the rotors and install new pads. I would think it's about 2-3 hrs of labor. But since I like filling out surveys:
Shop/Dealer- Me, a friend, and Notorious BIG on the radio
Milage when brakes needed servicing- I visibly check the wear on the pads. rotors have 67K on them (yeah i know.)
Track your car? yes and daily
Front/rear/both pads replaced- pads are replaced as needed.
Rotors resurfaced/replace- original rotors....a set of lightly used ones are in my closet to install for the next track day.
Final cost- $ 50 dollars for rotors...daily pads are 165 for a set F and R (stoptech)
