so it's now about a year since i started playing with my RC after a long break.
i learned dat...
1. old skool thinking still applies to chassis setups.
2. new electronics are more consistent and reliable.
3. chassis are lighter in gross weight, but they still run the old minimum weights at the races
their race rules are stricter but uncontrolled in the motor department. big difference in speed even though they use the same spec motors on paper.
4. rc folks tend do bunch up and gang troll due to very apparent low self-esteem individually.
5. prices are lower on crap electronics but higher on good electronics vs the past.
6. most prominent manufacturers are in china, taiwan, hongkong, no longer japan.
7. cf chassis are still ftw..
there's more but those are the main ones, i suppose.
