It could be several things.
Rev limiter - I forget where it's set (see OM and/or FSM) but it's just a little above the tach redline. See FPenvy's solution above.
Weak fuel pump - not able to supply enough gas at higher RPMs. Check fuel pump inlet screen for obstructions. Check pump pressure/volume and replace if not up to spec.
Lateral G induced fuel starvation - the Z gas tank is not the best design and fuel can move away from the pump suction on hard turns (usually to the right as per DE.50) with a gas tank that is less than about a quarter full.
Traction/braking nannies - these can cut power when the car thinks you are in trouble.

Get an OBD scanner and see if the car is throwing any DTCs. If there are any codes, Google 'em.
