Have you opened it up to check the capacitors?!?! I'll put $1000 down that replacing a few capacitors will fix it
I've been able to fix a number of TVs and monitors over the years using that method. I've fixed ones from 6 months old to 10 years old. Works every time. I usually replace most every capacitor (I don't mess with the big ones though - they'll mess you up if you're not careful to discharge them properly). It costs about ~$13 including shipping typically
