He always comes back... He's like like that dog everyone had when you were a kid, where your dad would take him out in the woods and then he would "run off"...

But then in a couple of days he'd show up, sure as ****... And you always wondered why your dad took the dog to the woods with him since he REALLY didn't seem to like the dog very much and the dog would run away every time anyway...
