I can get about 30 mgp on the highway cruising in 6th gear about 65 mph. However, if I pass cars now and then it drops to about 27.5 mpg and driving around Boston I get about 19.
Really quite good in my opinion. I have a Focus ST and get roughly the same mpg. It's funny, all these manufactures are building smaller displacement turbo engines to meet government MPG regulations, but when you drive any of these turbos in the real world they obtain the same mpg as NA engines for the most part.
The mpg number on the window sticker is because in government testing the car is probably out of boost most of the time. Turbos absolutely suck fuel when in boost.
