I wouldn't recommend a lightweight crank pulley in place of the OEM harmonic balancer/damper.

Even though the engines are internally balanced, that still doesn't negate the effects of when the cylinders fire and cause harmonics and vibrations through the crankshaft at different RPMS/loads, kind of like a whipping motion.

The damper/harmonic balancer reduces (and possibly eliminates) these harmonics/frequencies.

You may not experience any detrimental problems immediately with a lightweight crank pulley, but overtime it could create an issue.

There is a reason why Nissan and other manufactures add harmonic balancers vs lightweight pulleys. They want longevity/reliability vs the possibly 5hp you may get.

Now Fluidamper or ATI Racing dampers would be a better alternative imo.

Sometimes going with ''don't fix it unless it breaks'' is the best route.

Or you can Fix it until it breaks lol.
