As lame as it sounds, if I wanted a TRUE PRACTICAL daily driver, I would go for a Toyota or a Lexus. As much as I love Porsches and Vettes, I am very satisfied with my Z as it is very fun and as sexy as a car can get.

Honestly I think I would feel silly driving around in a Ferrari or even a high-end Porsche, but as a white-collar guy, with a blue-collar mentality I just can't relate to rich people.

Please bash me a will
I see your logic behind what you are saying to a degree. As I had the same mentality... Being that the premium market is drastically growing and the sub-premium sports car market is once again shrinking. Affordable monikers like Supra and NSX will now be in the GT-R range. And rumors of the next Z being a crossover? That's another can of worms... LMFAO! Effin' Nissan...

I think some people who can afford a little more May be looking for a one car does it all vehicle... Cars like the C63, M4, GT-R & RS-5 fall into a separate market...

Corvette, R8 and such are basically track cars. You are not going to get an enormous edge in performance street driving cars like that. So the comfort and convenience of the other cars will win the hearts of men that have a varied interest in how their vehicles are used.

I personally look at it as a luxed out muscle car and I'd strongly consider it. The likelihood of making the purchase is questionable based on the competition, yet still remains a strong possibility
