Just looks like a lot of lipstick on a pig to me. But then again I never understood the point of gussying up econo sh!t boxes. Why anybody would spend a dime over the base cost on a focus, caliber, neon, cobalt, mazda 3 etc makes no sense. It's still just an econo sh!t box with no historical racing lineage or cult classic predecessor. The whole point of the car was to be cheap and replaceable. At the $40k plus price point there's a lot better options, especially on the used market. C6 Z06, 996 911 turbo, cayman s/boxster, E92 M3 are just off the top of my head. They can all easily be found under $45k with manual trans and low mileage. Not to mention the domestic muscle car offerings that at least have some history or feeling to them. The focus rs/st/sv or whatever the crap letter badges they want to slap on these piles of garbage are generic, forgettable economy sedans for the masses. Nothing to see here.
