Yes, they looked crimped when they initially went on so I had to cut off about 1/4-1/2 inch with a utility knife. No big deal. I can't remember which side, but passenger side sounds right.

I also reused all the hose clamps from the original intakes and breather hoses just to make sure everything was air tight. The hose clamps on the OEM rubber intake hoses are "permanently" attached to the hoses so you just have to cut a little rubber tab to get them off...it will be obvious once you get 'em off, or just pick up some clamps at the hw store.
