I'm planning to do a write in as well. Do you have a guideline for that? I read that you need to:
1. Write a letter with argument - He never saw front window nor tested them.
2. Include the bail out amount (written on ticket).
3. Question: Do they have to inspect the vehicle for the write in? If so, will they come to your house? Or should you go to them?
Problem is, ticket has no amount written on it. He pulled me over with no reasonable suspicion as my front windows were rolled down long before i even pulled over and when I was, it was never pulled back up and he never measured the tints nor even get to see it face to face. The sun was barely visible at the time. Heres the picture of ticket:
