With the right tires, a 911 can be driven all year long. But you really need dedicated winter tires mounted on separate rims from your summer tires, if your in snow or really cold temps. Winter tires are not as wide. I got caught up driving mine in temps of 19 degrees at night, coming across the mountains, with MPSS and it was sketchy...really had to concentrate on what I was doing.
