What kind of weird **** is going to go wrong in 6 months after all that water got in there badly enough that the remote unlock didn't work and the alarm was going crazy?

Diminished value due to flood repair/insurance claim on the CarFax, potential future issues that are probably related to water damage that didn't get fixed (like say, the wheel bearings fail at 20K miles) and all that kind of crap.

I'm probably screwed.
Has anyone looked at your car yet? If not, just take your hose to the engine bay. Aim for the alternator and the air intake filter and then turn on the car
