Default New Black 2015 Nismo Owner

Hello all,

Earlier in the week I had taken my girlfriend down to the local Ford dealership here in Vegas to take a look at the Mustang GT. We spent over 6 hours there and was nearing a deal when the manager snapped up the deal sheet he had handed us and told us to go elsewhere. We weren't asking for anything most other people in the area were getting as far as discount went. I guess since I showed up in my 2014 SRT Viper and my girlfriend showed up in our family 2015 Mercedes ML350 the manager must have thought we were made of money.

The sales person was really nice however and we told him he had 24 to earn our business by lowering their price and having the sales manager apologize for his attitude.

The next evening, on our way to another Ford dealership we stopped by a Nissan dealership right next door. My girl saw a silver 2015 370z and fell in love. I got to test drive the only 370z Nismo on the lot and convinced my girl to upgrade. It didn't take a lot of coercing.

She couldn't be happier. I have to say, even though the Mustang GT is a bit faster it just doesn't feel that way when you are behind the wheel. I've owned and raced many cars and the 370z Nismo feels a lot like the 2012 Audi TTRS I used to race out here at Spring Mountain. It's got great handling, good solid brakes and corners very very well.

MSRP on the Nismo (non-Tech) was $44k and change. MSRP on the TTRS was over $67k. It's truly saying something that Nissan was able to put together a car that feels like it should cost $23k more and a car I never lost to a GTR with.

The deal with my girlfriend is she pays the standard 2015 370z automatic price and I pay the difference over for the "Nismo" package. I also get to add upgrades as I see fit, including a turbo charger. Car's in my name so she didn't really have a say.

Also, I recently upgraded my 2014 SRT Viper to the new 2016 GTC Viper TA 2.0 in matte white paint. Going to take a few months before its ready but i can't wait to get both the 370z Nismo and Viper out at Spring Mountain.

EDIT: Lastly, I just wanted to say how friendly the folks were out at Henderson Nissan. We got a spectacular deal and I was able to take advantage of the 0% finance rate over 60 months.
