I will give Apple credit with keeping iPhones up to date for years to come. Android can be tooth pulling excruciating at times.

Interesting. My Nexus 7 is first generation (2012 I think?). The only problem I ever encountered was the battery connection. After about a year it got to where you could just barely shake the device and the plug would disconnect. So I got in there with some electrical tape and made sure that never happened again. The battery life is definitely weaker than it was, but I don't use it for hours at a time and have never encountered any problems. I try to turn it off whenever I'm not using it, so maybe that helped? I will say the hardware is showing it's age. Thankfully, I don't tax it too much.
lol yeah my wife has a Galaxy S5 and is getting pretty frustrated with updates that break her phone. She did one update right after she got it and the phone app broke until they issued a new update. AT&T just said tough luck once they figured out the problem when I brought into them
