If the DW300 you have looks exactly like the image you attached, something will be needed to support the fuel pump in the housing... it can be done any number of ways. Also the hoses and the tube in our fuel pump install kit provide a way to connect a hose to the fuel pump and filter inlet. I am not sure if the hose in the attached photo will work or not.
