Actually the ZSpeed HD CSC has been around for a few years. The only issues I've ever heard about are pairing it with a Spec clutch is no bueno. Otherwise, it is a solid solution with no adjustments necessary. But it is still located inside the transmission bell housing - the external cylinder on Z1's kit is the reason I went with them.
