I did not do the math on the price vs labor hours, but I would think that it was because of tuning that a shop or mechanic would charge so much.
I remember taking my S13 to a shop in Naples, ITALY and the guy wanted like 300 Euro just to start. He had the only dyno around in the area, so I guess you gotta pay to play. I miss that CA18DET.
