Right about 8500 or so rpms. The crank may be going through a critical phase. Harmonics will turn a solid shaft into a flexible shaft. When it's in the flexible phase. Bad things will happen if left at that rpm too long. That's why BJ racecar runs a billet crank for this year. Last year, they was changing cranks after each race because of cracking.
