What I want to know is how many people (that don't burn up the clutch and can actually drive a MT properly) made it to clutch replacement without having to first address a CSC issue.

I've never burnt a clutch out in my life (I'd estimate 350-400k miles over four different cars). My CSC broke at 1,200 miles on the car so I'm not in that range at all. I had never even driven the car hard. 1,200 miles was the break in recommendation from Infiniti. I broke the mileage parking the car on a Friday. Took it out Saturday morning to finally see how much car I'd actually bought. Did full gear pulls through 3rd getting on the freeway. Exited to do it again on the next entrance ramp and when I got to the light the CSC had died.
