On a 2 lane highway, I got behind a work truck with a bunch of rakes and shovels so I wasn’t going to take any chances. I got in the left lane and proceeded to leave him in the dust and then decided, well, it’s been a while so let’s open her up. I noticed there was a whole line of cars ahead of him. When I got to 95 I looked in the rear view mirror only to see a cop in the distance. So I slowed down as he kept getting closer. I wanted to pull into the right lane but no opening. When he got closer a car pulled into the left lane in front of him that slowed him down. I sped up thinking I’ll get ahead of the line. Finally the cop flashed his lights so that guy pulled back into line. The cop picked up speed and was getting closer when another car pulled out in front of him. I’m not making this up. I was able to get to the front of the line and pulled off the next exit without any confrontation. Overall, a good day.
