I know that 2017 is supposed to be the first year of the redesigned 911, Cayman & Boxster, so that's why I picked the 2018. It let's them get any 'bugs' worked out and it gives the aftermarket time to get goodies together.

Yes supposed to have higher hp & tq than current 6.
Porsche's have some years where their cars become collectables, ex the last year of their air cooled models. 2016 N/A Caymans may fall in that category in the future. If it could fit two golf bags in it, I would seriously consider it.
Waiting for the 2nd year is never a bad thing.
