Hello sir,

If you are getting a slow red pulse then green pulse continuous that means that the process failed.

After further examination, I discovered my wires were not properly connected. I went in and undid my connections and soldered them on. Then I was given the proper green flashing sequence. (2 of the 7 should flash longer) which means that initially one of the wires was not connected.

After That the auto programming finished and when it finished I was presented with a solid red led. Only the volume buttons worked but then manual programming worked exactly as it should. So it all comes down to my wiring being bad. Which the ASWC told me by giving all short green flashes, meaning no wires connected. I read somewhere in my instruction book that some connections can introduce additional resistance which can mess up the system, fortunately soldering introduces 0 (theoretical) ohms.

Hope this helps, not sure why firmware update would make it fail if it functioned before, but it this unit never functioned with the AWSC and your getting the red pulse green pulse continuous, I would check your wiring again!
