Back in 1975 I bought a 1968 MGB for $2000 (too much at the time ... I was young and more stupid than I am today). That car lost value over the following years. Today, 40 years later, you couldn't touch that MGB in the condition I bought it for less than $15000. Really good ones go for $25000. The MGB is NOT a HIGHLY desirable car, however it IS a classic British sports car. The 240/60/80 Z is no different (well ... Japanese not British) except that pristene ones go for $30000 plus. So return on investement will come if you are willing to wait it out.
