Ideally, but, there's also a chance that you could make it look worse / more noticable.

I've got a chip on the edge of my hood near my headlight - I'm debating how I'll handle that one. Probably just micro-fill it with touch-up, then put a few layers of clear on it once it's leveled off...though after that, I don't know if I'll attempt a light wet sand /finess pad, or leave it alone. Depends on the results...

Or, I might just wait until I have about a dozen more, then have the hood done by a body shop.


As for my front fascia, I have several nicks from rocks and other crap, I have a black car, the fascia is flat black - so it doesn't really show up. That one will be a wait and replace kind of deal.
