Hey Buckeye,

Pull the knob off and spray an electronic cleaner/lubricant such as I describe below:

I sprayed Cramolin Red into my potentiometers, it fixed them right up. Still track perfectly the rotation of the knob. Just pull the knob off the pot and voila' the shaft and encoder potentiometers are revealed.

Of course, a few months later one of the "clik" buttons on the Volume knob messed up, I had to take it all apart and put a jury rigged clik piece in there. Fortunately I'm in the electronics biz so I had the clik parts
