Default For Sale / Trade: 2012 370 Twin Turbo - 6MT - Touring + Sport - All Options - 8K Mile

Car Sold!

Hey everyone, I am getting married in a few months and I have committed to reducing the current car count at the house. So the Z and SUV are going for sale in favor of a single, larger sports car (probably GT-R).

A few things right off the bat: (1) I will not be parting the car out; (2) I will not entertain lowball offers at all - I would rather just trade the car in; (3) really, I am not parting out so please don't ask.

OK, now I will do my best to list all of the work I have put into this car below:

Factory Specs:
  • 2012 Gun Metallic Touring with Sport Package
  • Black Interior
  • Navigation
  • 6MT Tranny
  • Lighted Z door sills

Upgrades:
  • Fast Intentions Twin Turbo Kit, including Tial HTA2868 Upgraded Turbos and Black Crinkle Finished Pipes
  • Fast Intentions Fast 500 Return Fuel Kit
  • Fast Intentions 2.5" resonated exhaust with SS tips
  • Fast Intentions High-Flow Cats
  • Fast Intentions Oil Cooler Kit
  • CSF Tripple Pass Radiator
  • Specialty Z Street Clutch
  • HKS EVC6 Boost Controller
  • Defi Gauges (Boost, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure) in main cluster
  • Innovate AFR (Galeforce Single-Pod A-Pillar)
  • Nissan Red Calipers with Upgraded Slotted Rotors, Pads, SS lines, and fluid
  • Swift Springs
  • Whiteline Diff Bushings
  • GTR Red Start Button
  • Nismo Dark Grey Wheels
  • Black Vinyl-Wrapped Roof
  • Black Vinyl-Wrapped Rear Valence
  • Smoked rear brake lamp lenses
  • Front 1/4 Clear-Bra

Performance Specs:
  • Tuned by Seb@SZ
  • 492WHP / 456WTQ (91 Craptane)
  • 578WHP / 528WTQ (100/91 blend)

Condition:
  • Oil Change and Inspection by Tony at Fast Intentions in May 2015
  • 8200 Miles
  • No dings, dents scratches on body
  • Wheels in perfect condition
  • Tires have 2000 miles

Sale Price
  • Bluebook values are from $28K-$31K (Good-Great)
  • Cost of mods: >$30K
  • Sale Price: $40K
  • Trade Value: I would consider trading for a late model (MY14-15) Z in excellent condition plus cash. This would only be so I could turn around and trade-in at a slightly better value. I believe trading value for value would mean no sales tax, but I need to look into it further.
  • For those seriously interested, please PM me for my email / phone number. I will provide VIN and whatever else you may need through those channels.

Q&A
Q: Did you modify the suspension other than springs?
A: I believe I got different toe bolts, but I honestly cannot remember. I know that I got the car aligned after the springs and everything is in spec.

Q: What tires on on the wheels?
A: Tires are Potenza S0001 in 245/40 R19 98Y (front) and 285/35 R19 99Y (rear). The wheels are also spaced I believe 15mm to bring the tires flush with the fenders.

Q: What pads and rotors are on the car?
I am not totally sure which pads and rotors. I had Fontana's race shop install what they recommended for canyon carving / light track work. I also had stainless steel lines and upgraded fluid installed during the brake upgrade.

Q: Is anything broken / not work right / quirky about the car?
A: (1) Because the car is turbocharged, it lost its windshield washer reservoir. The wiring and hoses are still there such that an aftermarket bottle could be installed, but I have not gotten around to it. (2) Occasionally the Innovate Wideband gauge freaks out and gives bad readings. Apparently the new digital gauges are a bit finicky. Innovate suggested wiring straight to battery with a relay, but I have not done that because the problem is only intermittent. (3) The return fuel system combined with Nissan's fuel level measurement system can cause the fuel level gauge to be very sensitive (i.e. read lower than actual fuel level) when the fuel level is low (<1/4 tank) and the car is going around hard turns.
