Cutting not required but I tried without cutting and you bend and squeeze the hell out of the tubing so when I reinstalled I went ahead and cut much easier install took less time and less problems just my experience with it. TBH it took about 10 minutes on each side with a dremel and it's still snug but the tubing is no longer twisted and bent which I didn't like.

Like others have said you can go with injen but who wants to replace the washer reservoir... You run into re locating the fuse box with the Nismo R tune CAI I believe I almost went that route but in the end Takeda Attack was a better option for me.
