I can agree with the downsides of coils but they do have their ups. I just put custom made coils on my car and while I do notice that I can put the power down better and earlier out of turns, the car is a bit more rough on the bumps. It has also taken me a long time to get them setup right as far as height and damping go. If I had to do it again I would have just gone with camber arms and a diff first then coils afterwards.
