One other point, the Michelin has a tread wear rating of 300 vs. 280 on the Bridgestone. Not a big difference, but the Michelin should last a bit longer. Anyways, both good tires.

Yeh, it's a cost vs performance issue. My suspicion is that 99% of the Z owners can't drive their car well enough to even
begin to take advantage of the marginal performance advantage of the PSS over the S-04.
OTOH, if we're talking about tread wear, the tread life implies real dollars, so if the PSS lasted twice as long as the S-04 (for example), they'd be a bargain despite the fact that a set of four is $340 more expensive. With a tread wear rating of 300 compared to 280 however....not even close.
