The service manual is on here, though it may be reserved for subscribing members. I'm not really sure about that part. If so, I suspect that compared with buying a copy at your friendly neighborhood Nissan dealer, a subscription here would be a bargain.

I have a lifelong habit of buying the paper service manual for all my vehicles - well, the ones I actually care about anyway. Can't be done for the Z. I tried. They only sell it on disk. I never got to the point of asking them how much the disk is. Since it really is over three feet tall printed on both sides of the paper, I understand why they do it that way. Even the Nissan techs use the electronic version.

I do not see this problem as particularly common. I've had two roadsters. Both have worked fine. I'm really just giving general advice based on over 40 years maintaining and operating powerhouses, and working on my own vehicles.

If nobody has made a video and posted it online, you won't be able to find it. Not trying to be a smart *** about it, that's just the way it is. I have done a few things on my Z, and every time I think about pictures and videos right after I get done.
