Finally getting my Z close to where I want it so I figure its time to start a build thread. I got my 09 manual back in 2012, after my Altima got totaled by a distracted driver while I was stopped at a light. I had never owned a sports car or a manual, and I thought it was about time I got something cool and not just practical. I was originally thinking a 350Z, mainly because I didn't know there was a 370Z, but after I learned the difference I had to get the 370Z.
I stumbled across this forum right when I bought my Z and within days I ordered my stillen gen 3 intakes. I had never modified a car, outside of the stereo, mainly because I never had a car that was worth modding. Little did I know how much I would enjoy it, and how addicting it would be.
I have done 95% of everything myself and wouldn't have dreamed of tackling it if it weren't for all the awesome DIYs and info on this forum.
I'm hoping to get a second car and retire this as my DD sometime in the next year, after that FI might be in my future
Here is was I started with, a stock 09 base manual, only thing installed was a Sony touch screen.
