Ok to clarify- boxer, not fighter. Misspoke. The better fighter would be pac.
Mayweather's strategy has been the same for years, and, as is obvious by his record, has worked to perfection. Win by all objective measurements (punch stats), and dare the judges to give you the loss based on the subjective data (even if the subjective stuff, like who's actually winning the fight) is right. If you're sitting in the judges' chair, and the compubox numbers are coming back that Floyd's landed punch to getting hit ratio is over 3:1 (Floyd's career stats) while Pac's is only a little over 1:1 (Pac's current career stats), you've got to feel like you're in a pretty tight spot even if your eyes are telling you otherwise. It's not pretty, it doesn't always yield the correct decision, but it's pretty hard to question who's the better "boxer".
