Default Tires -- narrow RE11 OR wide Pilot Super Sport?

In between those two tire options, I ran 295 square Rivals. 295 up front was pretty fat, and with no camber, killed the shoulders after just one Match Tour at Wilmington. I'm interested to see how the Rival-S fairs for others.
I put my stock wheels back on with the pilot super sports and tested it tonight. They felt pretty grippy compared to what I was expecting. I think they actually would out corner the re11 since the PSS's are new. The re11s have some highway miles--not sure if that could affect anything. So for this weekend I'll be running the PSS's. I guess I'll see you there. Are you running in street?

Handling-wise, is there benefit to running a smaller sidewall only in the front so the car points downward some?
