Also I would add the fuel system (injectors, fuel pump, rails, return lines, etc) and type of fuel used (91, 93, E85, etc) have a great impact on HP numbers - and in my case, the compression ratio of the motor.
There are so many variables that change the final outcome, I'm still learning new things everyday!
